    Can I setup notification for expired lots? Can I setup auto trigger of events upon lot expiration?
    Summary:
    I am not seeing much functioanity in current release other than assignin expiration and retest dates for lots. Essentiallly no transactions are prevented for expired lots.

    How can wip issue and Sales Ordder issue transactions be prevented for expired lots.

    There's no automation for that but other customers have used Events and Web Services to achieve automation.

      In addition, an expired lot will not be automatically picked as part of the Pick Release process.

        Lynn, Thanks for your response. My question was more related to whether we could setup any kind of automated notification upon lot expiration. There is Lot expiration Action we can define but that is not tied to any workflow action.

      Hi Sachi,

      Please note that we already have an existing ER for this feature:

      ENH 28328086 - ABILITY TO SEND EMAIL OR NOTIFICATION TO INVENTORY PEOPLE WHEN THE LOT EXPIRES.

      Also please note that currently this ER is a request pending for development team to review. There is not fixed time line at this moment on when this feature will be available.
