    Title:
    DateTime field mismatch
    Summary:
    Date field shows different value
    Content:

    Hi,

We are stamping values in a date field from UI and picking the value from database for other logic calculations.

In this, date value in UI is one day ahead of the value in ROQL.

Please provide us a solution on how to fix this.

    Thanks

    Padma

    Oracle Service Cloud, 18C

Is the date mismatch occurring if you use ROQL in Connect 1.4?

      Hi Vlad,

I am using Connect Object Explorer to query the values.

Please let me know how to find which version it is.

      Thanks

The Connect Object Explorer is using 1.3 but as far as I know the object explorer is no longer being supported.

I would recommend you use connect 1.4 in either SOAP API (SoapUI/Postman) or in ConnectPHP to run the ROQL query. I suspect the 1 day mismatch issue won't occur in 1.4. If you need more information about this issue I would suggest you raise a ticket with tech support.

       Hi Vlad,

      Thanks for your inputs.

I tried changing the version to 1.4, but still when I save the value from UI for the date field, it gets saved as 1 day lesser in the database.

Just curious to know the reason behind the same so that we will be able to overcome this through any possible workarounds.

      Thanks

      Padma

A more in depth investigation is required here to get to the root cause, would you be able to submit a service request along with clear, detailed steps to reproduce? You may reference this form post as well
