    Is there a way to remove access to the CP pages for an entire interface?

    We have several interfaces that had Customer Portal sites set up for them that are no longer being used.  I have turned off all scanning of them by search engines, but we are in contract negotiations and have not turned the interfaces completely off yet.  The templates for the pages are now set up to automatically redirect to a new site but that is apparently counting in our sessions.  So is there a way that I could change a config setting or anything that would maybe cause the user to just get a Page Not Found error?  Is the only way to rename all the pages and remove the current pages from production?  This seems like a bunch of work for something that is going away.  Just wondering if there's a simpler way to do this.

      Anurag is spot on here, this would be the prior option to completely disable CP pages.

      If you would want to block it knowing it is just for a few days or so, the setting CP_MAINTENANCE_MODE_ENABLED is an option. With that setting you put up a maintenance scree for all pages (which in effect blocks your content as well, see some explanation here).

      But like I said, Anurag answer is I guess what you should do.
