Procurement Cloud Implementation without Supplier Portal

Procurement Cloud Implementation without Supplier Portal
    Content:

    Hi

My customer would like to  implement  Procurement Cloud solution  in place of  E-Biz Suite. But, he doesn't want to implement Supplier portal.

I would like to know how  buyer and supplier interaction happens during Sourcing negotiations?  Is there any work around for this

Can you please let me know if somebody have come across this scenario?

In my view,  it doesn't serve complete purpose if you don't implement  suppplier portal.

    Thanks

    Subba

      Hi Subba,

You can still send out the PDF which they can use to respond to by e-mail or by manual mail.

The responsible buyer can then create a surrogate response for the suppliers in the system.

But for large negotiations, this can become very labor-intensive.

Wow, so if I want to use all the functionality provided in Sourcing Cloud what other services my customer should suscribe for?

At the cloud.oracle.com offering only see

      Sourcing

      Procurement Contracts

      Supplier Qualification Management

So, this can be a little confusing if I don't have enough information about funciontality embeeded or shared with Sourcing Standalone...

      Hi Antonio,

To my personal knowledge (I'm not a sales, or aware of all the offerings and groupings), the Supplier portal is available with the subscription of self service procurement and/or sourcing. No separate license needs to be acquired.

You should check online or with someone of Oracle, though, to be 100% sure.
