    Creating a widget to form
    Content:

    Hello

    I need to create a widget to use in the portal form with the name "public" that has two options and they are created within an incident when they are submitted. Can anyone explain to me how this is done or if they have any documentation demonstrating? I'm new in this part and I can't understand it.

    Best Regards.

    That is correct Clinton.
    The out of the box configuration will enable this on your contact form. It is possible that your page has been modified and where this is disabled but this is normally not the case. The out of the box behavior is that this will make the field visible and no other configurations are required.

    If it's not visible you will have to go to your ask.php and insert the code below to re-enable OOB behavior

    <rn:widget path="input/CustomAllInput" table="Incident"/>

      Hi Clinton.

      Why not use a custom field (since you only seem to want this on the contact form only). You can have this enabled for end user visibility and it would be up and running within 15 minutes.
