How do we attach images to the VBCS web form?

Can you clarify what are you trying to do?

Are you trying to add an image at design time?

Or are you looking for the customer to add an image at runtime?

Is this a web or a mobile app?

        Hi Shay,

Does you have any material about this theme? I'm needing to solve this same issue but didn't find anything.

        Best Regards,

If we are talking about uploading some document or image during runtime - then you'll need to work with some solution for document storage that exposes REST service interface for file uploading. Oracle Content and Experience Cloud provide such API for example.

You'll call that API from VB.

You can use the Oracle JET File Picker component in VB to provide the UI for choosing a client side file.

Then you'll use the select event from that component to call the upload REST service.

We are trying to build a data entry web form where the user needs the ability to enter or add attachment (pdf) to the form, this will be eventually calling a webservice to load the image and data.

        Hi Bharat,

Have you been able to figure out a solution for attaching the documents in VBCS? Would you be able to share a sample code for this?

        Thank you,

Adding attachments to Business Objects seems like a basic operation - add a photo to an employee record, add a logo to a company profile, upload a photo to an inspection record, save a PDF of an audit record...
