    Title:
    64bit support for RN Connect?
    Content:

    Hi,

I'm developing an ASP.NET web application that communicates to RightNow via the RightNow Connect DLL's.

The problem is that I have to deploy this web application to a W2003 x64 webserver, which results in this error "is not a valid Win32 application.".
I only receive this error when I include the RN Connect dll's, so I assume I need 64bit versions of them.

    Are they available?

    Thanks,

    Walter

At one time, RN Connect was compiled with "AnyCPU" as the build target platform, but we had to change this to "x86" because of some dependencies on the agent console libraries which were using a 32-bit C++ DLL.

I believe if you change your build target platform to x86 it will fix it as well. I had some good links on this at one time. I will try to dig them up.

It does look like the build platform target was changed back to AnyCPU in a February 2010 (10.2) SP. I would make sure you have the latest SP on your site.
