    Title:
    Replicated partition definition issue
    Summary:
    Replicated partition definition issue
    Content:

I have two databases using a replicated partition - Source:DB1  and Target:DB2. I have problems defining the Account dimension source area to target area. I only need to push level zero accounts from source to target and have tried different functions: @Relative("Accounts",0), @Descendants("Accounts"), @LevMbrs("Accounts",0) in both source and target but data does not seem to be getting pushed.

Just as a test, if i specify a few individual level zero accounts in source and target the data does get pushed through. If i tag a few individual level zero accounts in both source and target with a UDA "Replicate" and define my partition area as @UDA("Accounts", "Replicate"), the data also gets pushed through.

Any ideas what other functions i could try to use to push data for all level zero accounts?

Are you getting some kind of error during partition validation? @LevMbrs("Accounts",0) should be fine.

You can use UDA or you can use do a one to one dimensional mapping to push data in replicated partitioning. Even @DESCENDANTS and @ LEVMBRS should work. What is the error you are getting?
