Update 19A: Configuring Descriptive Flexfield Segments With Requisition Parameters Whitepaper Update
    Content:

    Support / Customers

Based on feedback from customers through support posts, we have added a note to the whitepaper to clarify some specific configuration related details.  You can find the Support Note here:

Oracle Support Document 2303017.1 (Configuring Descriptive Flexfield Segments With Requisition Parameters) can be found at: https://mosemp.us.oracle.com/epmos/faces/DocumentDisplay?id=2303017.1

Look for the note below in the whitepaper. Outside of this, the remaining content stays intact.

NOTE: If the input source is a free text field, use ‘Name’ to make the join in the where clause. If it is based on an LOV, then use ‘Id’.

In the example below, in the Where clause, the BU (bu.bu_name) is specified in a free text field, and the supplier is specified from an LOV value (supplier.vendor_id). In this case, use ‘Name’ for the BU and ‘Id’ for the supplier.

I tried this link again. It seems to work fine. It does not take you to a web page. It is intended to directly download the document. Check your browser settings if there is something that is causing not to perform that action.

      Thanks
