    Activities Not picked up in Routing

    Hi All,

    Need some expert eye on Routing. We have created a Routing profile, routing plan and set of activities and assigned this profile to a bucket. 

    When executing Routing plan using "start manually" for an interval of 1 day or more, I could see execute summary which means that routing is getting executed. But Activities showing as "0" , Resource Utilization as "N/A" with a Negative Savings.

    Have followed all the configurations what is defined in our PDFs. Infact I am able to manually move the activities from one bucket to other successfully where there is no mismatch of Workzones and locations. 

    Business rules are enabled for Workzone support and work location support. Rest of the settings are all takecare. 

    But in Manual report summary, I am getting Zeros. 

    I tried with "Immediate" run schedule aswell, which again not showing any positive result. I am not getting any error message to trouble shoot further.

    Please throw some details why the routing plan is not picking up the activities?

      Hi Hema,

      Routing depends upon number of factors. 

      1. Work Skills - Resource Work Skills must be match with Activity Skills

      2.  Type of Filters - Have you selected filter which include activity type bucket or routing etc.

      3.  Type of Activity

      4.  Work Zone - Assign work zone to resource. If resource work zone do not match with activity location/work zone then routing will not assign activity

      5.  Availability - Resource Availability must require. What kind of time slot or work shift you have set. These will also take care in routing. 

      Please keep in mind these criteria while creating profile for routing. I am also forwarding you screenshot which will help you to figure out how routing works. PFA screenshot.

      Hi Hema

      Please check the filter criteria and zip postal code you used to assign work zone.

      Once the configuration is good run the routing plan.

       

      It will get fetched.
