I believe this feature is delivered in 19A

"Automatically Determine Requested Delivery Date Using Agreed Lead Time"

Automatically determine the requested delivery date on purchase orders to reduce manual order adjustments and speed up the order creation process. The application calculates the requested delivery date on purchase orders created from requisitions using the lead time defined on the source blanket purchase agreement.

You can enable the Opt-In feature and use this feature

We had try this new opt in feature, however this is update Requested Delivery Date and not Promised Delivery Date. Requested Delivery Date is input by end users and per business process, this field should not be changed and this opt in feature not able to meet our requirement

      Hi Teang,

The requirement can be achieved with the combination of 19A feature "Automatically Determine Requested Delivery Date Using Agreed Lead Time" and "default Promised Date from Requested Date" flag in Procurement Business Function (Refer Doc ID 2317262.1 https://support.oracle.com/epmos/faces/DocumentDisplay?_afrLoop=541881132644754&parent=EXTERNAL_SEARCH&sourceId=HOWTO&id=2317262.1&_afrWindowMode=0&_adf.ctrl-state=i6bd9xanq_4 )

However, the significance of the 'default Promised Date from Requested Date' flag is that the requested date will default to the promised date when the document is accepted as part of supplier acknowledgement. Please note that Promised date does not default while creating Order but it gets defaulted once supplier acknowledges the PO.

      Thanks,

      Manav

      Hi Manav

The business requirement is not to change the Requested Delivery Date, only need to populate the Promised Delivery Date per the leadtime. This mean the Requested Delivery Date should be always per end user input, but Promised Delivery Date populated based on the requested delivery date + lead time. Hope this clarify

      Thank You
