    Is there any flexibility in requisition visibility beyond all or your own only?

    Hi

    As far as I am aware it is only possible for requisitioners to view their own requisitions (default) OR to be able to see all the requisitions raised within their requisitioning BU (via additional privilege)?

    Does anyone know if there is an in-between option, e.g. the ability to only be able to see requisitions raised by people within their own department or division (rather than BU)

      Your assertions are accurate. A business unit is the unit of control in terms of access to content such as requisitions. 

      I am curious, what translates to a requisitioning BU in your business? Clearly it is not a department, so then, what is it?

        On bigger projects I have worked on there may be 50 departments.  Large public sector organisation, for example, might have different policy units which are classified as departments, along with HR departments, financial accounting departments, IT departments, legal departments etc... 

        In many cases the way they raise requisitions is broadly the same (the same catalogs, smart forms, suppliers etc...) so no need to over-engineer it with loads of RBUs, however a more granular way to restrict visibility would have helped particularly if any data was sensitive.

        I think there was a concept of 'Business Groups'(?) or something in eBS which could help with this, which I dont think has been fully met with RBUs for this purpose.

      Given the passage of time and lack of enough up votes, this idea did not gain traction. 

      To your question though, i cannot say we have had too many customers ask for something like this. But I say, never say never. Let's see if the idea gains more traction and cause a need for further review.

        Thanks Ashok - that was different as it related to content zones rather than 'team' visibility of previously raised requisitions. A little similar I guess though.

        Maybe I will raise an idea for this one if I get time.

      Agreed. I was just comparing the similarity too. You can log an idea. I am just not certain about the traction it will gain or if we will consider it.  So up to you.
