    Title:
Default Segment Values to 'All' on Inquire on Detail Balances Page
    Content:

At some point, one of our non-prod environments defaulted the segment values to "All XYZ Values" when trying to use the "Inquire on Detail Balances" page. Does anyone know if / how to enable that? We lost it after a P2T refresh.

      hi,ben

We have below documentation and ERs:
General Ledger – Inquire On Detailed Balances – Save Search (Doc ID 2222066.1)
Enh 22162307 - DEFAULT VALUES IN INQUIRE ON DETAIL BALANCES SCREEN
Enh 25366762 - SAVE SEARCH OPTION ON INQUIRE ON DETAILED BALANCES SCREEN

Our development team suggestions and comments in Enh 22162307 - DEFAULT VALUES IN INQUIRE ON DETAIL BALANCES SCREEN are the following:

While we deliver this ER, please suggest customer to use below approach to have default context in Detail balances search region, this helps customer review the critical accounts balances and further drilldown to the finer details of account balances, journals and transactions.
      i) Have user create one public Account Group, have the frequently accessed segment values / Account combinations defined in Account Group.
ii) Account Monitor region in General Accounting Dashboard will display balances for Accounts defined in Account Group.
iii) Drilldown on balance amounts in Account Monitor rows brings up Detail Balances UI. This helps customer have default search context in Detail balances UI and users can further edit the search context in Detail Balances UI.

      best regards

Hi Afton- Now that ER's are going thru the Ideas lab, can you provide the associated Idea URLs so we can upvote them? I agree with Ben that this functionality should be brought back asap.

        Thanks,
