    Title:
User defined fields on order header and line (aka EFFs) to be visible on main screen
    Summary:
User defined fields on order header and line (aka EFFs) to be visible on main screen
    Content:

    1. The user defined fields to capture various user defined fields need to be visible on the main screen at order header or line level - without the need to go to Additional Information.
    2. Can the additional fields be added at the line or header level?
    3. Can the EFFs be dragged and dropped on the main screen using page composer or any other mechanism?

It is too cumbersome to get to the EFFs via Additional Information. Moreover if any EFF is made mandatory, that does not stop the processing of the order if that EFF is not filled. As if there is no connection between the EFF page and the main page.

      Hi SK,

this is not possible as per EFF design.
      1. Not possible-even EBS also not support this.

      2. Yes, You can add as many as you want. but make sure context should be less as it will impact your order import performance.
A maximum of 40 segments can be added to each context on an OM EFF. There is a limit to the number of each segment data type that can be added:

      Data Type Number of segments
      Char              20
      Date               5
      Number         10
      Timestamp       5

What is the Max Number Length in EFF
What is the Max Character Length in EFF
What Is The Maximum Character Length Can Be Defined For A Value Set that needs to be attached to the EFF segment?
What Is The Maximum Number Length Can Be Defined For A Value Set that needs to be attached to the EFF segment?

      Ans: In OM header/line EFF
the data type of ATTRIBUTE_CHAR1-20     is VARCHAR2(150 CHAR)
the data type of ATTRIBUTE_NUMBER1-10    is NUMBER
      5 of Datatype Date
      5 of Datatype Time
Up to 150 for char and 38 digits for the number is supported.

      3.  No.
