How to add Calculated Row / Check Row in Financial Reporting Studio?
    Summary:
How to add Calculated Row / Check Row in Financial Reporting Studio?
    Content:

We have few FRS reports for Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss and other purposes. The users want to make sure that reports are grabbing data from all the department/accounts (whether current or newly created). This would be last cell at the end of each column to provide a confirmation that all department/accounts are taken care I believe it is called Calculated Row / Check Row. Has anyone implemented this? How to do this in FRS?

    Thanks

We have to write the formula like example is Sum(row[10],row[12])

        Hi Sridhar,

The requirement is not to add rows which are already available in the report but to bring data from entire COA somehow and see all departments/accounts are accounted for in BS or P&L statements. For example, if you add all amounts of a Trial Balance, the net result is zero (since debits equals credits). This is also seen when you open smart view or account inspector where total first comes as 0. That kind of check is needed for the FRS reports to make sure that if there is any new department or account added, it is already taken care in the report i.e. there is no hard-coding available in the report which will make the report not report new department/account data.

I have seen a video by Oracle which shortly explains this concept. Just wanted to know if someone has implemented it. --> https://ora-fusion-apps.custhelp.com/euf/assets/fusion/videos/replays/Report_Authoring_Beginner/021014_109995_source/d1/d1.html --> From 41:00 to 45:00 --> Check Row / Calculated Row discussion.

        Thanks,
