    Summary:
Cloning GIT using HTTPS URL from Cloud Account With SSO
    Content:

    Hi,

We are trying to Clone GIT using  HTTPS URL which is there on Project Page. We are getting "Authentication Failed" as an error message. This cloud Account is SSO enabled.

We followed the same steps in a cloud account where SSO is not enabled and it works perfectly fine. Is there any Setup we have to DO?

    Thanks

Can you check if the User used for authentication has the Developer Cloud role assigned.

      Hi Abhinav,

We are using the same user for GIT cloning which we have used for setting up that GIT in developer cloud service. This we have already done in the gen-1 version where we are not using SSO enabled cloud login.

      Thanks

Ideally Git cloning using Https URL should work. If you have already taken care to ensure the password is correct and correct user roles are assigned to the user, I would encourage you to go ahead and file a SR.
