    Title:
Project cost allocation in multi-award funding scenario
    Summary:
Project cost allocation in multi-award funding scenario
    Content:

    Hi,

We have few scenarios where a project is being funded from multiple awards (different primary sponsors) and also from multiple cost sharing internal funding sources. There are clear directives on how these funds needs to be consumed - in specific order of funds and percentage based consumption based on matching rules between the corresponding external and internal funding sources. At the time of recording costs (say a requisition), it not possible for a requester to allocate them per those directives and needs to be to a simpler pool for easier data recording. Is it be possible to setup project costing allocation rule(s) that can allocate this cost to these various funds under the project based on these rules? If not, are there are workaround suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Pratish

Project Allocations does not support the award/contract and funding source attributes associated with Grants transactions.  This is a known requirement and is on our product roadmap.

      Prashant,

      Very good question.

I am new to Fusion and have similar scenarios and would like to know if the same allocation feature would work in Fusion Grants.

Hoping to hear from people with experience or Fusion Development group from Oracle.
