      Similar or identical requirement?

Password protected reports are no option in OSVC.
A workaround that may work depending on your requirement is to set profile permissions for your report to be scheduled and schedule it as a published report.
This would prevent users without the right profile permissions from opening the report.

Edit: This would not work as permissions are not carried over
See: Report permissions not inherited by child reports generated by a schedule into a public folder

I therefore think the only possible workaround (far away from the original password request) is to not include the report at all but instead link to the report either through a BUI bookmark url or Screen Pop url (agent desktop). The report would stay in its original place with the set profile permissions and the schedule would only serve to inform about a data update (alert)

        Hi Sebastiaan,

        Thanks for you response.

The requirement is for scheduling and sending a report (.xlsx) with password protected. This report will send to number of recipient every weeks.

        Thanks

There is no OOB way to do this.

I think you will have to work with a CPM to get this and a 3rd party API solution.

      CPM:

      1. With API to 3rd party password file creation.
      2. Retrieve file and use API to send the message.

You could create an escalation rule that will serve as your scheduler possibly with a custom date & time field that will get updated through the CPM creating a new schedule date. On escalation you trigger your CPM.

        Thanks Sebastiaan,

Yes, as you mentioned we do not have any redirect approach for this.

I think this make sense using CPM and capture the current date as the scheduled date and trigger like an escalation based on the prev scheduled date.

        1. With API to 3rd party password file creation.

I think this can be achieved using PHP

        Thanks
