    Hello everyone!

How to add the due_date of the milestone_instances object in the message templates

The route I follow is as follows:

    Navigation> Site settings> Message templates> Contact emails> Request> Question repetition

    I appreciate your help!

That one can be found under Incident Fields -> Initial Response Due

        Sebastiaan,

It happens that the client tells me that the Date Initial Solution Response field is used for internal control.

They want to use the due_date found in the milestone_instances table in the template

        How could i achieve this?

        Thanks for the reply!

Hm I see what you mean. To be honest I have never used Milestones so I had to look it up and found very few documentation about milestones so I don't know what it does.
But... if the field is not available and you absolutely need to have it than you could create a custom field for the incident object and use a CPM to copy the milestones due date (which I checked is available in PHP connect) and write this into your custom field. The custom field will than be available to you in the message template (if it's an absolute requirement).

        Sebastiaan,

Do you have any documents to share with me about this please? I have never done it

        thanks for your help!

          Hi,

What you can do is create a report having only one row which is your milestone object (due date) and have the relevant filter so that when the value of those filters match, you only get one row as result. Then use this report in the message templates to display that field wherever you like.

Note: For this whole process to work i think you must have some relationship between incidents/contacts and milestone object.

          Thanks
