    Link not displaying in the work space report

    HI All,

    We have an address custom object created and linked with Organization. The same address should be displayed in Incident also. Under Incident, address custom attributes were created and the relation ship report is added in the incident workspace. So here we are facing a problem. we should show the "Open" link in the address report under the incident. but we donot want any other record data to be shown. so in report under records we removed all the options except Address "open". we are able to see that link while running the report but not able to see that link in the incident workspace under address tab until open option is provided for Organization. In workspace on clicking Open it is opening an organization workspace instead of address.We tried with different joins still the same issue.

    Can any one help!

      Try a few things:

      Keep Address CO at Root of your report.
      Make sure Default Record in Records section of the Report is Address.
      Make sure Hide Report Commands is unchecked in the Report Control on workspace.

      If it doesn't work, please share screenshot of Report Definition and screenshot of Report Control Options in Workspace.

      How is Address Table joined to Incidents? Incident is the Parent of Address, right?

      If yes, in Incident workspace, go to Insert Control on Ribbon and add Address View Relationship Item in a tab.

      See if you are able to Open Address records directly from there.

      Then copy that Standard Report (Address by Incident) and remove Open permissions from that Report one by one.
      Remove Org Open. Save. Check.
      Remove Contact Open. Save. Check.

      You'll find out the solution.
