    Title:
    RNT/Lithium Single Sign On
    Content:

Looking for CP examples on how your guys handle the Lithium SSO intergration with RNT.

I asume it's doable as this forum appears to be linked to the RNT interface.

    Thanks

      Hey Dustin,

Correct. It is doable, and you are correct that the integration has been implemented within CP - but the widgets etc are custom widgets that are currently being productized as part of a revamp for our Lithium Connector and aren't publically available. In the future, you are likely to start to see widgets from Lithium on this site - and when they are ready I'll certainly let everyone know :)

      Hi Dave,

Is there a general time line?

If these widgets are not ready yet and I have to be converted to CP by say December, can POS implement these for us?

If we can't convert our current SSO we will not be able to move to CP.

      Thanks

Ok, I take it a no.

Can I get some sample code that you guys used here in this forum?

Is SSO something that not even possible with May 08 version of CP?

      Thanks

      Hey Dustin,

Apologies for the delay in replying. Yes, PS can help you build these out (on August or beyond) as a custom project. May is a beta release, and I wouldn't recommend building out a complex SSO on that platform.

      Hope that helps!

      Hi Dave,

Thank you, that helps me know that I need to switch gears so to speak.

This may be a dumb question, but does this mean that SSO with Lithium will not work at ALL if we switch to the customer portal?

I'm not entirely clear if the issue here is with the SSO in general, or making customizations to it in the CP.

(I just started experimenting with the CP today, and will need to stop if it will break our Lithium SSO)

      Hi there,

There isn't an issue with the SSO integration - we are interacting on a Lithium site now and you went through single sign on from a RightNow CP site  in order to get here :) It just hasn't been productized as a solution (yet). There are people working on consuming the widgets and packaging it.

The integration as was distributed with the classic enduser pages will not immediately work with CP as it has been architected differently. Work is required to create/modify that functionality within CP to mirror the old functionality. You should contact your sales rep if you need assistance from RightNow Pro Services in order to help you do this.

Ok, so SSO will break unless modifications are made by me or PF if I make changes to the support center via the CP.  But if I wait till May, I'll be good?

      Thanks,

      Hi all,

Were any integration examples for SSO from RNT to Lithium ever given? Or, is this still relegated to Pro Services?

      Thanks a lot,

      Carl
