    View Columns/Folder Rules
    Content:

Just like we have folder rules in EBS, do we have anything in Cloud Applications? When i run the 'Check Availability' either in Order Mgmt or GOP some of the columns like 'Split Allowed' or 'Substitution Items Allowed' are to be manually added so that we can change them and then refresh the GOP results. However there is no way to save these columns or re-order them for future use. I will have to add them again if i were to use them again. That's inefficient. Do we have anything like folder rules in Cloud Applications that allows to save the columns for future use?

      Hi Nitin,

Column display control is supported as part of user personalization. Through this, you would be able to hide or unhide columns and save those views that render accordingly.

This is also applicable for the Check availability page that gets launched when you click on the button from the fulfillment view of the sales order, where in you can enable the columns such as Allow splits or Substitution items as part of the view that you can save and retrieve when you open an existing order or create a new order.

Please provide additional details on your version, specific observations if you are still facing this issue.

      Thanks

      Balaji

Thanks for your reply Balaji. I'll test this out in the partner environment. Is there a document that shows how to do this? If yes, please share.

      Thanks,

      Nitin

      Hi Nitin,

This is part of the standard UI page structure wherein you would see controls such as Action, View, Format above the multi-line region.

You can try: View -> Columns -> Select the column that you want to hide or unhide. When you navigate out of the page (let us say by clicking on Done) and relaunch this page, your changes will be saved.

You can also reorder the columns using the View -> Reorder columns menu option.

      Hope this helps.

      Thanks

      Balaji
