    Title:
    DFF list of values based on Requisitioning BU
    Summary:
    DFF list of values based on Requisitioning BU
    Content:

    Hi,

    Is there anyway of displaying a list of values in a DFF based on the Requisitioning BU at the header level

    Scenario

    If BU - BU1

    DFF - Group - List of Values should show Group1, Group2

    If BU - BU2

    Then the DFF - Group - List of Values should show Group3, Group4.

    If this is not possible , can we achieve this through context sensitive segments. How do we do this?

    Thanks

    Alex

    Please have a look at the following MOS notes...

    PRC:SSP:How to Define Parameter Based DFF segments in Self Service Procurement (Doc ID 2286934.1)

    Starting with Release 12 July 2017 Monthly Update (August 2017 Quarterly Update) the following parameters have been made available:

    In POR_REQUISITION_LINES DFF :

    Parameter name Parameter Syntax
    Category Id :{PARAMETER.CategoryId}
    Line Type Id :{PARAMETER.LineTypeId}
    Requester Id :{PARAMETER.RequesterId}
    Requisitioning BU Id :{PARAMETER.RequisitioningBUId}
    Supplier Id :{PARAMETER.SupplierId}
    Urgent :{PARAMETER.Urgent}
    Source Agreement Id :{PARAMETER.SourceAgreementId}

    Also, the below note shouldn't affect your scenario but it's good to note...

    Context DFFs Created For Requisition Header Is Not Available At Requisition Header Level (Doc ID 2505180.1)

    Also, a requester is not expected to change the context when he wants. That is the reason it is under Configure Requisitioning Business Function.

    When the user changes the context, the old requisitions would still retain the context segments from the old context and display the values. Only the new requisitions would be created with the new context.
    If you want to see the context on the edit requisition page or if you would like to change the context for each requisition, please note that is not supported.

    Below is the enhancement request exists for the same
