    Title:
Is System Admin rights required to install newer version of Outlook plugin for OSC?
    Summary:
Is System Admin rights required to install newer version of Outlook plugin for OSC?
    Content:

I read in one of the documents that in latest releases of Outlook plugin for OSC admin rights is not going to be required.   Is it just for the upgrade (binary) or even while installing it for the first time?

Its suggested to uninstall the outlook plugin for OSC every time when MS outlook is getting upgrade. So after MS outlook upgrade, if we have to install the OSC plugin, should we need admin access for the computer still?

Assuming the original install was done in Per User Mode (default), Admin privileges are not required for client upgrades.

      • Automatic upgrade is available for per-machine installation mode, in case users have administrative rights on their computers.

      • Automatic and manual upgrades in the per-user installation mode do not require administrative privileges.
