    Title:
New members in Data Source dimension adding twice
    Summary:
Loading data to FCCS_Managed data member vs Custom members
    Content:

    Hi all,

In the past, we have loaded data to FCCS_Managed Data with no issues. However, a client requested to have different data source members. We created those new members in the Data Source dimension. What we noticed is that when we loaded data with DM, the numbers in those members are doubled after running a consolidation. If we load data to FCCS_Managed Data, numbers are correct.

We're currently checking the settings in DM and trying using other members, but we have not succeeded to identify the root cause yet. Have you experienced this in the past?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Can you please check the consolidation operator for new data source member. If you are loading data on custom member, consolidator operator for FCCS_Managed should be "Ignored" (I guess, we can't change this property).

    Please check for this.

    - Thanks!

The belief is you Have you went ahead and logged an Oracle SR . What is Oracle current position?

Can you replicate in PROD and TEST?

What do you mean the numbers are double?(at level zero of all dimension? at a consolidated total data source?)

Have you created a fresh Data Management location and been able to consistently replicate?

What do you see in .dat file that gets generated in Outbox folder of DM. That can determine if you want to investigate further in DM or FCCS.
