    Hi,

    I am trying to enable "Data LifeCycle Management" component. I followed below steps

    • Add the Data Lifecycle Policies component to the navigation set. The component is found in Components > Common.

    • Select the Bulk Delete check box in the Administration permissions.

    I have added the component to Nav set as when I login with the profile the nav set is assigned to, I couldn't see the component in both Console & Agent Browser UI.

    Is there anything I am missing ?

    Appreciate any suggestions to fix this.

    Fixed the issue by Clearing local cache & resetting nav set

    • "Rebuild Local Data Cache" in Personal Settings -> Local Data
    • "Reset Navigation Set to Profile default" in Personal Settings -> Navigation Pane

      All,

      I just logged in for the first time in the BUI because we are researching how to purge old incidents.  I am trying to Add the Data Lifecycle Policies component to the navigation set as instructed, but I can even find the "Components > Common". 

      How can I access it?  I looked in the BUI and the Agent Desktop as well. 

      We are currently on Agent Desktop 18B

          Thank you for your reply, but I checked and still can't find it.  I looked under all the Navigation folders.

            Hi Laura,

            You need to click on the "Customize List" Icon, navigate to Components -> Common -> Data Lifecycle Policies and click on Add

      Thank you!! I looked finally in the "Customize List", but still not there, so I think my next step is to contact Oracle Support.  It may be the version we are in 18B? not sure.

      At any rate, I appreciate your help.

      I finally found it in the Agent Desktop, Oracle Support provided instructions:

      STEP 1

      Went to Navigation, Navigation Sets

      Selected the Admin from the right list

      Selected the Configuration

      Expanded Components, Common

      STEP 2

      In File, Options, Personal Setting, Navigation Pane, selected Reset Navigation Set to Profile default.

      I see the Data Lifecycle Policies in the BUI,  but I can and access denied error.  Have you experienced this issue?
