      Hi Madhu,

      I am not sure if I follow. OFSC doesn't provide that functionality. Wouldn't it be simpler for the source system to create a duplicate record and resend the same to OFSC. The entire operation of OFSC is based on work needs to be carried out on the particular and using the overnight work settings, OFSC provides dispatcher to move the jobs to next day.

      Actually the requirement is when the technician see an Inventory Item is OUT OF STOCK he will NOT DONE the activity and he will request the inventory cloud manger for reload the rquired stock. When the stock is reloaded the Inventory manager will notify the technician and the technician has to resume the activity.

      How can we duplicate without creating a new activity in OFSC to assign to the technician?

      Thanks in advance,

      Madhu

      I believe you could do it by using Core/ReST API e.g. you could send update activity request with the following:

      "ifInFinalStatusThen":"createNew"

      Thus, system will create a new one.

      Thank you

        Hi Dmytro,

        But how can we update a field in past date??

        Saw an activity is cancelled in past date, using the REST API you provided is it possible to change the status from cancelled to pending to create a new activity?

        Thanks,

        Madhu

          If activity with the final status in the past, you would get a new activity created with the same fields i.e. cloned.

          You can't change final status. But you can create the same activity in pending status.

          Thank you
