    Hi All,

    I'm trying to assess whether there is a problem with Approvals in FCCS or whether its what I have configured.

    Some background:

    •  The approval hierarchy is a sub-set of the Entity structure, therefore in the "Data Status" dataform some Entities are showing as Approval Status = Under Review / Calculation Status = OK (but are not included in the approval unit e.g. Parents not included int the Approval flow)
    •  There a 3 "actors": Business Unit (Input Data), Controller (Reviewer) & Group Users (Final level of approval)
    •  All Entities have been approved
    •  Working POV is P1 / FY19 (Years run from FY17-FY37 / P1-P13)
    •  Ownership has been run for the previous FY's

    When I go to Lock a bottom level Entity (or the parent) I receive an error message: Failed: Invalid Data.  I follow the hyperlink through to the data form that contains the validation and I see what is shown in the image for the Validation Form - this shows FY17.  I have changed a number of configurations to see if this would trigger a change - no luck.  Also when I look into the Grid Validation Messages I get: "The data validation rule Col_B_Rule_2 associated with the form has been removed due to errors. [0]". 

    Any insight or thoughts are appreciated.

    Hi,

    Have you checked the approval unit assignment, sometimes the status of the approval unit is NotSychronize.

    If it show NotSychronize, I think you can try to sychronize the approval unit >> Reopen the entities >>Tried to lock it again.

      I have the same issue.  However, we have only 1 approval unit (Total Geography).  App starts with FY15, but no data till P12 FY17.  I can (ad must) lock all prior periods, but when I get to P12 FY17, I get a failure for one base entity.  When I follow the links to the validation form the message says The data validation rule Col_B_Rule_S associated with the form has been removed due to errors. [0] 

      No clue what that means and I checked the approval units ARE synchronized.  Help Please!  file attached shows steps take and results.  Jun FY17 is the first period that has data and data has been consolidated with status OK.
