ABC Classification Setup for Multiple Subinventories
    Summary:
ABC Classification Setup for Multiple Subinventories
    Content:

As per the current ABC Classification Setup we can do either for only one Sub Inventory Level or at whole Organization Level. We want to have the choice for multiple Sub inventories. Please advise if this is possible.

You define the Content Scope of an ABC Classification Set for an entire organization or for a single subinventory. Example: If your organization consists of  SUB1, SUB2, SUB3, SUB4 and SUB5, you can create one ABC Classification Set that includes items in SUB1 through SUB5. Or you can create individual ABC Classifications Sets for each subinventory.  However you cannot create an ABC Classification Set with a Content Scope of  say SUB1, SUB3 and SUB5.

Thank you Michael. Is there a legitimate reason that we cannot create an ABC Classification Set with a Content Scope of  say SUB1, SUB3 and SUB5? Or is it just functionality that is not yet available?

    • Michael Cummings

Correct. The functionality doesn't currently exist. As for legitimate reason, The ABC Classification Set functionality in Fusion was designed based on EBS functionality. This setup has been used by many customers for quite some time. This has not been a strong requirement from our user community. Please log an enhancement request with details of the business flows emphasizing the business value of  ABC Classification sets by groups of subinventories.
