OTBI - YTD -For - Period Name

All->How to calculate Year-To-Date YTD (total amount for a given period) for a amount column from OTBI. when a user selects Period Name from Parameter?

Financial Year: Jun-19 to May- 20 and one Adjacent period.

Ex: When user selects period name as May-19, Then the total Amount from Jun-18 to May-19 should show from that column. Can we achieve this by passing Period Name as a Prameter? because we cannot iterate Period name from and To using OTBI? t

Even though we pass Period Name as Parameter do we need to calculate based on Accounting Date..?

    Kindly advice.!!

    Version: (Build 64-bit)

additional information for above requirement with a example:

We have requirement to show Year-to-Date calculation for General Ledger Journals "Entered Dr", "Entered Cr" which needs to be calculated based on 'Period Name' Parameter.

Our Fiscal Calendar will be from Jun'00 to may'01. example: Jun-18 to May-19 and so on..

We have to use "General Ledger - Journals Real Time" SA from which we need to pick the columns.

      Seg1  Seg2  Seg3... Segt6 .. Entered Dr(YTD Dr Amt)  Entered Cr( YTD Cr Amt)
      101     000    000      0000     1223389.00                   1223389.00

User will pass the Period name from parameter.

If user passes Parameter period as May-19 then the YTD Dr Amt should sum amount from Jun-18 till May-19.

If user passes parameter period as Aug-19 then the YTD Dr Amt should sum amount from Jun-19 till Aug-19

I cannot see that Period name can be incremented based on parameter from OTBI for which I guess we need to pass the accounted date based on period name.

Please let me know if this is possible from OTBI. or not?
