    Title:
Supplier Payment Messages all the same XML Tags in Payment File
    Summary:
Supplier Payment Messages 1, 2 and 3 all the same XML Tags in the Payment File Extract
    Content:

We are testing generating a Payment File and we found that the Supplier Payment Messages 1, 2 and 3 all result into the same XML Tag (PaymentTextMessage). This results into an issue in our eText extract wherein only Payment Message 1 is being displayed.

    <PaymentTextMessage></PaymentTextMessage>
    <PaymentTextMessage>STRAIT</PaymentTextMessage>
    <PaymentTextMessage>STRAITSHIPPI</PaymentTextMessage>

Has anyone had a similar issue?

Oracle Support has provided an answer to this. Take the Below XML snippet as an example:

    <PaymentTextMessage></PaymentTextMessage>
    <PaymentTextMessage>STRAIT</PaymentTextMessage>
    <PaymentTextMessage>STRAITSHIPPI</PaymentTextMessage>

in the eText RTF Layout, it should be used as below:

    <LEVEL> OutboundPayment
    <POSITION> <LENGTH> <FORMAT>  <PAD> <DATA>
    <NEW RECORD> PAYEE_DETAIL
    64 12 Alpha  R,‘‘ PaymentTextMessage[1]
    76 12 Alpha R,‘‘ PaymentTextMessage[2]
    88 12 Alpha R,‘‘ PaymentTextMessage[3]

    Hope this helps someone. :)

Why cant you modify the XSL mapping to allow your mapping to generate as you want?

How can i do that? currently, this is how it's being mapped in the RTF file:

        <LEVEL> OutboundPayment
        <POSITION> <LENGTH> <FORMAT>  <PAD> <DATA>
        <NEW RECORD> PAYEE_DETAIL
        64 12 Alpha  R,‘‘ PaymentTextMessage
        76 12 Alpha R,‘‘ PaymentTextMessage
        88 12 Alpha R,‘‘ PaymentTextMessage

Is there a way for me to differentiate the first Payment text Message from the second and third one?

      Hi Juan:

My apologies for not answering your last question. Good thing someone else was able to answer.

      Thanks.
