    Title:
Agent Browser Extensibility Framework Quick Start Guide
    Content:

The Agent Browser User Interface (BUI) Extensibility Framework is the API framework that allows you to write JavaScript code to create custom controls and UI components for the Agent Browser User Interface. Use these API's to build components (we call them “Extensions”) to extend, automate and integrate the Agent Browser User Interface and provide a more unified agent experience.

The Agent Browser Extensibility Framework Quick Start Guide is intended to help you learn this framework and provide some examples with step-by-step instructions on how to create commonly used controls or UI components.

Have you tried the new Agent Browser UI? Tell us what extensions you plan to build with the Extensibility Framework!

I am a fan of the BUI and I do keep saying to myself we really should be exploring this, but I just never seem to get to sit down and play with it.  This and the webinar are good way of keeping my mind fresh on the progress of the development of the BUI.

BUI is good but in my opinion it really needs to have the same functionality of the desktop console.  One would think that is the ultimate goal.     I've had comments from customers with small teams who want some consistency and if most of the team use the BUI but a few need to use the desktop console for config purposes I received comments about the different experiences and they prefer that everyone is on the same look and feel so they chose the desktop version in the end.

When customers are using other Oracle apps they are usually disappointed that Service Cloud is desktop console based but the other products like HCM are all browser.   Please continue with the functionality coming quickly!

Looking forward to August 17 enhancements to the BUI. Can't wait for Workflow support, we'll finally be able to migrate our agents across!

I find this to be a very good option for my Remote Agents on the move. Gives them flexibility.

The BUI and extensibility framework look very powerful and would seem to have a lot of use cases, but I can't touch them until we do our next upgrade! I am certainly looking forward to the day when I no longer have to hear the cries from Mac users about the lack of support for the traditional console on their devices as well.

If I could rewrite a few AddIns I could start using BUI with a few users. I have one BIG addin to rewrite, its a custom form that calls and interacts with UPS.

We are going to start with rewriting a few Ribbon buttons and see how we do. :)

We are not using BUI yet but want to upgrade again and look at launching this in spring 2019.  Any lessons learned someone has to share?
