    Weekly Patching Changes - January 2014
    Abstract:

    Effective immediately, the weekly patching window will move from Wednesday to Friday nights. This applies to all Fusion Applications customers.

    Announcement:

    Based on feedback from customers like you, we are taking this step to reduce the disruption caused by patching your environments midweek. The Weekly Patch Bundle will still be used for exception patching required for go-live blocking issues and critical fixes. Once an environment has been added to the Weekly Bundle, it will remain on the Weekly Bundle List and be patched each Friday until the end of the calendar month. The Monthly Patch Bundle remains unchanged.

    What we are announcing
    Effective immediately, the weekly patching window will move from Wednesday nights to Friday nights (Thursday nights for Middle East Patching Region) and the patching downtime window start times have been adjusted for all Fusion Applications customers.

     

    The patching downtime window for all customers will start based on the patching region.

    Middle East - (Thursday) 07:30 PST
    APAC (Asia Pacific – Sydney) - (Friday) 02:00 PST
    APAC2 (Asia Pacific – Singapore) - (Friday) 05:00 PST
    EMEA (Europe) - (Friday) 13:00 PST
    Americas - (Friday) 19:00 PST

     

    Please take these changes into consideration when requesting critical fixes and impact to other project activities.
