Method to find intersection with actual data in Essbase with SmartView
I'm trying to find a simple way of targeting an intersection where there is non-missing, non-zero data.

    Hello Oracle Essbase World,

I have a fairly simple question regarding SmartView and Essbase.  It's on the cloud, but that isn't relevant for this question.  What is the easiest way to find an intersection with actual non-missing, non-zero data?  I have heard there are VBS scripts that can do that, but is there a simpler way?  If not, what is the best method to be able to jump to an intersection where this exists?

Smart View provides a way to suppress #Missing data cells

On the Smar View ribbon, click Options and then select Data Options.

Under the Suppress row -> check No Data / Missing or Zero, as required.

Some cubes have a design that makes it almost impossible to find data. In that case you can run a database export to see where the data resides. That's more of an exercise for an administrator. Good cube design will make it easy for users to find data.
