    Title:
Unable to Edit Imported Requistion lines
    Content:

When requestor tries to edit imported requistion lines it gives an error " You cannot Edit Imported Requisition lines ( POR-2010337)".

I have below questions on this.

    • If the Requistion is imported in Incomplete status can the Requestor edit imported lines?
    • Is there any other option to edit the imported lines like editing Price / Qty etc.

      HI Ramesh,

Are you using FBDI template to import?

If using FBDI, what is the value you are passing in 'Externally Managed' column in 'POR_REQ_HEADERS_INTERFACE_ALL' tab in Requisition Import FBDI template?

        Hi Vikram,

We are passing value as "N" and the Reqs are visible in the self service proc. We are able to update the qty in the imported Req's. But business would like to update the price on these imported Req's before these Req's are processed to PO.

I am not sure if it will allow to edit if the Req's are imported in Incomplete status.

        Thanks

        Ramesh

Please check metalink note:  Can Setup Be Changed To Allow For The Modification Of Imported Requisition Lines? (Doc ID 2083517.1)

"The quantity can be modified directly on the requisition lines table. But the item (item/description/price etc) and source information (agreement/supplier) cannot be edited for imported requisitions. This is the application behavior and is not controlled by any setting."

        Hi Sunny,

Thanks. I did see this note. But was wondering if there is any option to update the Price on the imported Req before processing to PO.

        Thanks

        Ramesh

      Hi Ramesh

No, we do not allow requesters to update the price of imported requisition lines.
Ideally the price should come from BPAs negotiated with suppliers.

      Thanks
      Mara

Changing the price is not possible for imported requisition lines and for catalog requisition lines.

      Thanks
