    Title:
    Extract xsd's from wsdl
    Content:

    Hi All,

We have a requirement to generate xsd's for Item Version 2 service. We have tried using SOAP UI to generate the definition but unfortunately because of the number of size generated, we are getting the below error message

java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\Users\manda\Documents\Zoom\ItemServiceV2_1_2_3_4_5_6_7_8_9_10_11_12_13_14_15_16_17_18_19_20_21_22_23_24_25_26_27_28_29_30_31_32_33_34_35_36_37_38_39_40_41_42_43_44_45_46_47_48_49_50_51_52_53_54_55_56_57_58_59_60_61_62_63_64_65_66_67_68_69_70_71_72_73_74_75_76_77_78_79_80_81_82_83.xsd (The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect)

Could you kindly let me know if there are any other options / ways to generate the xsd files from the webservice.

    Thanks,
    Nagesh.

To dowload the XSD for items version 2, you can follow the below navigation path
      On your oracle instance Navigator:
      Tools > developer connect
Search for Items Version 2. > go to the service Data Objects and you can download the XSD

      Thanks Magesh.

When i try to navigate to the j_ItemEffCategory i could see that the child nodes are repeated endlessly.

      Is this valid?

XSD for EFFs are generated based on the meta data entered for the flexfields and the XSD in this section only contain the static part of the EFFs.

You can download the complete XSD for EFFs from Setup and Maintenance > Manage Extensible Flexfields > Search for EGO_ITEM_EFF > Action: Download Flexfield archive

          Hi Magesh,

We are not looking to download individual xsd's but want these xsd's as a part of the web service.

          Thanks,

          Nagesh.
