    Hi All,

    Is there any possibility where the first activity created for the day(from oracle service cloud) is taken first taken by the technician rather than taking the last activity in the first. Can this be acheived without the field POSITION IN ROUTE in OSvC?

      Hi Dilip/Madhu,

       

      Can you let me know the version of OFSC. As I remember the one of the older versions had the support of FIFO and LIFO assignment. But in the latest version I was not able to find that setting. I remember fiddling with it last year.

      Once check the Resource types/BusinessRules/Display settings in your application. I remember it was in one of these 3 screens.

      If unable to find then please raise an SR to change this setting.

      Hi Hardik,

      I m using the 18B version, service update 9. In SR they have stated that we can have position in route in field service to rearrange the list of activities.

      Is there any other way to change the position of activities of first in first out?

      Are activites created in bucket to be routed, or created already assigned to a technician?

      If activites are suppose to be routed, then Immediate routing do pretty much exactly this (assuming that there is not Service Window constrains, or Access Hours constrains, etc... that preventing activity to be started until certain moment later).

      If activites are created directly assigned to a technician for a specific day, then you have to set position in route - last.
