    Dear,

How the LOT number become default on the received expected shipment screen.

While using the Transfer order process, when the user trying to receive the quantity on the received expected shipment screen so the lot# doesn't appear by default on the lot number field, even though we cannot choose the lot number after clicking the drop-down list, we have to click on the search button on the same field then after opening the new popup screen we need to click on the serach button, then I can be able to select the Lot no, which is a very long process in terms of the multiple items in one receipt.

If  you are looking for a way for the lot information to always default during receiving then we do not have that functionality.…they have to explicitly specify what lot to receive during the receipt process.  You are welcome to log an Idea in Idea Lab for this.

We cannot default the lot information in the Receive Lines UI. The customer needs to get to the ‘Record Lot and Serial Number’ navigation to enter the lot number for the item to be received.

      • If the receipt routing is direct then you can enter the lot details on the Receive Lines Ui itself.
      • If the receipt routing is ‘Standard’ and if the ‘Allow routing override’ attribute is checked on the Receiving parameter, then too you can enter the lot details on the Receive Lines UI.
