    User unable to view journal lines

    Preexisting user is suddenly unable to view journal lines

    Hi

     

    We have a user who until yesterday was able to view journal lines, but has suddenly stopped being able to - he can see the header detail, but the journal line element of the page returns "no data to display" - he has access to all of the account codes within the journal, and there have been no changes to his roles.  Even more strangely, we have had a recent P-to-T copy done, and he can access exactly the same journal in Test, with no issues

     

    Does anyone have any ideas?

      I think we may have cracked it for that user - their policy had disappeared - which is a bit odd as its not something we have done to amend the user!  Screenshot attached though - it may be of use to another user one day

          Found it.

          Manage Segment Value Security Rules and Verify which segment has Security Enabled.

          Edit the Data Security and add the Policy with the correct Role
