    Business Rule - Interface Column in Contact

    My site contains 2 interfaces. I want to create a business rule that will set custom field to appropriate interface value.

    if contact is created within the "Interface1" then set custom field value to "Interface1".

    if contact is created within the "Interface2" then set custom field value to "Interface2".

    In the incident business rule, I can see Interface field.  I can't see interface field for contact business rule.

    In order to achieve the above functionality, I need to identify the interface.

    What is the workaround for this?

      Contacts are not interface-specific, hence why that type of condition does not exist. There are a very limited set of Contact fields actions available from the incident business rules - you could see if any of those could be used?
