    Hi,

The contract terms get printed in the same negotiation pdf at the end.

The template specified in the "RFQ-->Overview Section--> Contract Terms Layout  field" is used.

The template can be found in the 'Entreprise Contracts' folder as depicted below. Make sure you customize the template and do not modify the standard template.

    Please see below snap.

    Regards,

    Niamath

      Hi,

What you want to change here, because contract terms can be attachment, which is appended to the end of negotiation PDF automatically.

      Thanks,

We want to remove the first page of the contract, which just says, contract and terms.

yes, thanks, i got that part. i have downloaded the ContraccttermsPlusAmendments(procurement) rtf

      modified it

Custom > Enterprize Contracts > Contract Printing >

create a new template and uploaded the modified RTF.

But not sure how to call this now.

When i go to negotiations > manage negotiations templates, i can see the contract terms layout name as ContractTermsPlusAmendmends.

      But it is greyed out.

        Hi,

Check from Setup and Maintainence - > search Configure Procurement Business Function and see which is the default template you are using.

      • Niamath Jeddy

It should be editable and the new template you created should be listed.

Try creating a new negotiation template and see if the new layout appears there.

In  my case, I am able to edit and select a custom layout in the negotiation template screen.

Maybe I am struggling with some standards to be followed.

I downloaded ContractTermsPlusAmendmentsProcurement.rtf under Reports  > enterprise contracts > contract term printing > contract Terms download and preview >

      ContractTermsPlusAmendmentsProcurement.rtf

I have made some modifications to this copied template after renaming it to XX.

Now i want to add this as a new layout and upload this new template XX.

Whatever i am reading says it should be done custom path

Custom > Enterprise contracts > Contract Term Prining

But i am not finding this path under custom

Yes you are not following the correct steps. Please follow below steps:

        1. Get 'BI Administrator role' assigned to yourself
          • Create custom role. Add 'BI Administrator Role' as a child to this custom role.
          • Assign this new custom role to yourself
          • Oracle Fusion BI: How to Add the BI Administrator Role to a user in Release 12 and higher. (Doc ID 2238277.1)
        2. Now access the BI server URL:
        3. Now access Shared folder--> Enterprise OCntracts--> Contract Terms Printing.
          • In the report, Click on 'More' you will notice 'Customize' option. Click this.
          • Clicking the 'Customize' option auto creates a copy of this report in the Custom --> Enterprise Contracts Folder
        4. Navigate to Custom --> Enterprise Contracts --> Contract Terms Printing. and perform the changes here

Many thanks again for your help.

I alreay have tried that and i do not see customize option.

I have checked, i have correct BI ADMIN role as described by you.

      thanks again.

You have to use this URL.

The customize option comes only through this URL

    • OSC User

      you are THE MAN.

thanks a lot for helping me out in  this process. I will edit the RTF, upload it and hopefully it will work.

      thanks again.

I think I am still missing something

When I open a negotiation > it shows me highlighted layout

      • OSC User

So to customize buyers PDF ( I want to remove text “contract terms and condition”), I did ‘customize’ for

        ContractTermsPlusAmendmentsProcurement  layout.

Under custom > Enterprize Contracts > Contract terms printing

        I opend this template

        • OSC User

I uploaded the template with some minor changes, but it is not reflecting in the Buyers PDF output.

          What am I missing?

Did you create a new RFQ and try?

If your existing RFQ is in 'Active' state then oracle will not regenerate the odf (untiell another version of rfq is created).

Create a new RFQ and try

    • OSC User

i tried new one. No luck.

The existing negotiations are in DRAFT status.

    • OSC User

no luck so far. i tried lots of things but my changes are not reflecting in the buyers pdf.

i am trying to remove "contract temrs and conditions" text and is not taking into efect.

i have opened SR with Oracle finally.

    • OSC User

i think i am all set with this. i am able to see my changes in the PDF.

I still have to make lot of changes, but i am working on the correct template.

      thanks ALL for your help.
