    Title:
Common reference set vs enterprise reference set
    Summary:
What is the difference between both and can we restrict LOV based on those
    Content:

Hello, Does someone know the difference between common reference set and enterprise reference set

Can we restrict LOV (eg: Transaction source value by this type) or by legal entity-business unit?

We are a company with multiple business units and we are trying to restrict LOV that the users sees when they choose one BU

    Thanks

    Hi Sylvain,
My understanding of this is that the objects assigned to "Common Set" will always be visible. Objects assigned to "Enterprise Set" will only be visible if you assign this Reference Data Set (RDS) to the BU in the task "Manage Business Unit Set Assignments". I generally create a RDS per country (task : Manage Reference Data Set) for my customers, to share the tax classification codes but segregate them by country for instance. Be careful that not all the objects are working with that, for instance Payables Pay Groups, even though they seem to be working with RDS, will only be visible if they are assigned to Common Set.
    Thanks
