    Manage Orders - Create Revision
    Create Revision Option not available when trying to update existing Sales Order


    Does anyone know under what circumstances the Create Revision Option in Manage Sales Orders becomes available. I have an Order that is submitted and awaiting shipping. I want to edit the order, but the option to create a new revision is not available. 

    any help appreciated.

      Hello Karim,

      It should be possible to create a revision in this state of the order.

      Which release of the product is this being tested? Can you also highlight the sequence of steps that you did before the line reaching Awaiting Shipping status?

      ​Hi Karim-for this order in question ,can you please check if the field S UBMITTED_FLAG  is Y or N. I suspect it mi​ght be 'N' still.

      Just an update,  we logged with Oracle and there is an issue which they are not able to reproduce internally on their they offered us a workaround whilst they investigate further,  the workaround is described below. First the issue we have is that if we revise an existing order and save, but instead of submitting the change we hit the cancel button, we then lose the ability to change or cancel the order. this is due the fact that the saved draft version is stored but will not query back using the manage orders form (even with Open = <Blank>)

      The workaround provided is to search the order in the overview screen, if queried this way the draft order is returned which we can edit and submit.
