    Title:
Mass Create Resource Exceptions in Work Center Resource Calendar
    Summary:
Is there a way to mass create Resource Exceptions in Work Center Resource Calendar?
    Content:

Customer needs to have different weekly calendars per resource. For example, Resource A only operates on Mon-Tues, Resource B operates Wed-Thus and Resource C operates Fri. There is no way to assign a calendar to a resource. It can only be assigned at the Plant level. I have tried using Resource Exceptions, but it appears these can only be created one at a time (per day/per shift). Is there a way to mass upload Resource Exceptions or is there another way to achieve different calendars per resource?

    Hello,

Unfortunately, we do not yet have a means to mass create work center resource exceptions.

You may want to set up a calendar as follows and test if it meets your requirement:-

    1. Set up separate shifts for each day and a workday pattern consisting of these shifts which repeats itself every week.

    2. When assigning resources, you can then assign the resources to the appropriate shifts.

    Thanks and Regards,

    Alex

      Thanks Alex,

This is a good idea. I've set it up and will test it with Capacity Planning and GOP.
