Hi All,
Let me give you example on the same :
Lets take a scenario where at the time of booking 1st SO we have 0 On hand and we book SO for 4 Qty later we bring 2 Qty on hand run collection and plan.
In Planning system pegged 2 Pcs On hand against 1st SO and planned order for 2 Pcs is released(PR is created) then we book anpther SO for 2 qty then system is not honoring Pegging created in Planning central instead system is reserving 2 Pcs on hand directly against New SO.
This is going to impact business tremendously as new SO will get reserved while old SO is still pending fulfilment.
Thanks,
Harshal

HI Sreehari,
Thank you for your comment. This is actual scenario which is happening.
Lets take a scenario where at the time of booking 1st SO we have 0 On hand and we book SO for 4 Qty later we bring 2 Qty on hand run collection and plan.

In above case we have collected planning data and restart GOP as well after receiving 2 Pcs on hand, still when we book new SO with same Qty as On hand system is directly reserving new SO with On hand while old SO is pending in Scheduled task.
If you have any doubts or concern then please let me know.
Thanks,
Harshal
