Change in Enhancement Request Process for ERP and SCM Cloud Customers

    scm-erp-idea-lab.png

ERP and SCM Cloud are transferring the Enhancement Request (ER) process from My Oracle Support to Cloud Customer Connect's Idea Labs on August 1, 2019.

This move is part of Oracle's ongoing initiative to continuously improve the customer experience.

The Idea Labs will allow ERP and SCM Cloud customers to submit new ideas, comment on existing ideas, vote for their favorites, and see which requests have been implemented by Oracle. Oracle's product management teams monitor and review all ideas posted by the community and provide guidance on product roadmap plans.

For more details, please reference this announcementWe are hosting a Customer Connect webinar session on Jul 11 to provide more information regarding this important change.

As a legacy rightnow person I am very familiar with the idea labs concept however will Product management be updating the ideas periodically to proactively communicate with the community on where it stands in the roadmap?

    • Bernice Lam

Yes. Ideas are reviewed periodically by Oracle Applications Product Management and Development teams for customer interest, complexity, resources, market trends, alignment with our product vision, and prioritization against other projects.  Oracle will provide status updates to ideas that have high endorsement.  Go here to find out more information about statuses.
