    Title:
    .bat for clearing cache
    Content:

    Has anybody written a script to clear local cache for a user? Ideally it would run at login or logout of RightNow but okay if it was part of the PC startup. Hoping you can share what you wrote. smiley

    Hello Rusty and Melissa

    In that case the bat file would be as below.I've tested it on my <interface-name> and it works like a charm.This program removes the interface folder which is generated when RN console loads for the first time

    How to make it run automatically is already shared through a seperate URL in my original reply.You can set the echo OFF in the bat file if needed

    echo Delete my RN cache folder called test:
    cd\
    cd %appdata%\RightNow_Technologies
    if exist test (
    rmdir /S /Q test

    exit
    )
    else
    (
    exit
    )

    Thanks,

      Melissa,

      We use a bat file for Clear Temporary Internet Files/cookies/form data/saved password/add-ons setting using windows RunDll32 command.You can copy paste the below content on a text editor and save it as ***.bat.

      echo Clear Temporary Internet Files:
      RunDll32.exe InetCpl.cpl,ClearMyTracksByProcess 8

      echo Clear Cookies:
      RunDll32.exe InetCpl.cpl,ClearMyTracksByProcess 2

      echo Clear History:
      RunDll32.exe InetCpl.cpl,ClearMyTracksByProcess 1

      echo Clear Form Data:
      RunDll32.exe InetCpl.cpl,ClearMyTracksByProcess 16

      echo Clear Saved Passwords:
      RunDll32.exe InetCpl.cpl,ClearMyTracksByProcess 32

      echo Delete All:
      RunDll32.exe InetCpl.cpl,ClearMyTracksByProcess 255

      echo Delete All w/Clear Add-ons Settings:
      RunDll32.exe InetCpl.cpl,ClearMyTracksByProcess 4351

      I believe what Melissa is looking for is a way to clear the RightNow Cache folder located in C:\Users\<AD.username>\AppData\Roaming\RightNow_Technologies\

      A .bat file is one possible solution but are there others?  perhaps one built into RightNow or a supported method for doing this?
