    Title:
    Automatic a replicated partition
    Summary:
    Automating a replicated partition
    Content:

Is it possible, and can anyone provide the syntax for running a .BAT file to pick up a partition export (.mxl) file and replicating it from source to target on the fly. Or at the very least running a .BAT file that will pick up the MAXL file definition for the replicated partition.

    Version:
    11.1.2.4

You can find the MaxL here for partitioning : https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E57185_01/ESBTR/maxl_crepart_r.html

For Automating the partitioning script, you can use something like the below script,

    echo off

     SET HOUR=%time:~0,2%

    SET dtStamp9=%date:~-4%%date:~4,2%%date:~7,2%0%time:~1,1%%time:~3,2%%time:~6,2%

    %ESSBASEPATH%\bin\essmsh.exe <Maxl Script name> %username% %pwd% %svrnm% %sourceapp% %targetapp% %dtStamp% %PartitionArea1% %PartitionArea2%
