    Title:
Administrator user can insert data on locked period/entity
    Summary:
Administrator user can insert data on locked period/entity
    Content:

    Hi experts,

I have approved and locked several periods for our complete entity hierarchy but we've found out an administrator user is still able to load data on that periods/entities. Despite they appear as "Locked" on the Data Status form, the admin user can insert new data and then the status changes to "Impacted".

Has anyone else experienced this behaviour?

    Thanks

    Hi Elena,

Log in to FCCS --> Navigator --> Approval Unit and have a look if the Total Geography has UnSynchronized status. If it is "unsynchronized", change it to "Synchronized" by going to Actions --> Synchronize. Re-consolidate and lock. This worked for me.

    Thanks,

    Hamid

      Hi,

We had faced this issue and when we raised the SR for the same then they told that there is already Enhancement request raised for the same.

So I think now we don't have any solution for the same. Just need to wait till ER get resolved in any update.

Thanks a lot! I have investigated and it seems related with the fact that our entity hierarchy is not created under the Total Geography member... so yes, we can do nothing but wait until the ER is solved.

        Thanks.

        Hi Dishil,

Have you already heard when the enhancement request will be included in an update?
