    Title:
    "mode=API_MODE_UPDATE, pair 'source_upd' is required Transaction=[org_update]"
    Content:

    Hi,

I am able to upload organization data using OF.create(Organization) on a test site. However, when I upload same organization data to our production site, I am getting an error message, "mode=API_MODE_UPDATE, pair 'source_upd' is required Transaction=[org_update]". Please help.

    Thanks,

    Kevin

Since it works when you set the EEFlag property to false, I would say there is an issue in the external event. Unfortunately, you will have to work with Professional Services to get this issue resovled.

      KJ,

What version of the RightNow Connect Data Integration API are you using? Also, what language (.NET, Java, C++)? Can you provide a log? See the pinned topic at the top of the forums for information on enabling logging.

      Ryan,

The version of out RightNow is Feb '08 and version of RN Connect API, RightNowConnect.dll, is 8.4.0.95. I am using .NET (c#). I have a log file. However, when I paste it with this reply on my first response, it is blank.

      Thanks,

      KJ

I contacted you with a way to send me the log.

Attached is my log file, and I take out login and password. Please let me know you can see attachment or not.

      Thanks,

The source_upd looks like it is populated in the request. I would work with a RightNow technical support representative to capture PHP trace files for this request.

Do you have any external events? I have seen cases where external events can cause problems like these. You could try setting the EEFlag property to false on the RNOWOrganization before passing it to the update() method.

      Ryan,

Yes, your company creates territory lookup utility event for us which is automatically assigned AE to an org. I just try to EEFlag property to false and it works. However, I want to have event running and assign AE to an org. Is there a way we can do that?

      Thanks,

      KJ
